What is It's Glow Time?

What would happen if a 5K was held in a nightclub? It would look like It's Glow Time! Join us for a 5K Run/Walk with one of the best party atmospheres around. All of our events happen at twilight, starting under black lights and lazers with a DJ pumping up the crowd. Along the race route there are party zones, each with their own musical entertainment. We've designed our party zones so participants wanting to stay in the zone and jam for a bit can enter Party Zone in the Jam Lane, while the more serious runners can run through in the Fast Lane. All of our events end with a huge post-race party with live music, sponsor food and drink, black lights and lazers. If you're looking for a unique event friendly to all fitness levels, offering the best post-race party around then you've found it - It's Glow Time!

What Else do I Need to Know for It's Glow Time?

1.) Bring your Neon! Dressing up is encouraged - neon colors or light colors that will react with black lights are recommended. There are lots of fun glow accessories available; we will provide glow stick glasses and necklaces with your race packet, but we'll have other accessories for sale at the race site both before and after the race.

2.) Bring your ID! Alcohol will be available at It's Glow Time races if permitting allows it. For the Madison event, Capital Brewery Beer will be available, but you must be able to show you are legally old enough to drink in order to be served.

3.) Bring you friends! Parties are always more fun with your friends and It's Glow Time is more than a 5K, it's a party!

Packet Pick Up: Madison

You have 2 opportunities to get your race materials, or register (if you haven't yet):

1.) May 10th, 2013 from 4 PM - 8 PM at Willow Island

2.) May 11th, 2013 from 5 PM - 7:30 PM at Willow Island

What you need for packet pick up:

Your photo ID - we want to make sure the person who paid for the registration gets to have the fun!

If you are registering or planning on making a purchase at our Glow Store, you need an acceptable form of payment. We WILL be able to accept credit cards at the store and at registration; however technology being what it is (who hasn't lost their internet connection?), we do recommend you bring a back up form of payment just in case.

PARTICIPANTS MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN PACKETS! YOU MAY NOT PICK UP OTHER PARTICIPANT’S PACKETS UNLESS THEY ARE YOUR CHILD. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We understand that not being able to pick up your teammate’s packets seems like an inconvenience, but we actually have 2 really good reasons why we do it this way:

  1. We need to see your ID and make sure the person who paid for the event and signed the participation waiver is the person claiming your entry. We really want the person who paid to be the one who has the fun!
  2. There are an awful lot of you coming through packet pick up! Our production company is involved in over 150 events each year, and we have always seen slow- downs and longer lines when people get to pick up one another’s packets. For smaller events, that’s no biggie, but with around 5,000 people coming through packet pick up, we really need to get you through the line and started on the fun as fast as possible.
